Lemon Graduation

Lemon Graduation

I love graduations! I think it's a special time in that persons life with endless possibilities. I had a lot of fun with this graduation shoot and I am thankful for my good friend for asking me to capture her special time!! She is such a talented and sweet woman! We took these pictures at the U on a rainy day. We really lucked out with the rain. It held off on raining on us til the very end of our shoot. I did want to head over to the Legacy bridge to get some pictures there but it was pouring at that point so we headed home. Maybe next time!
I hope you enjoy this session as much as I did!

Lemon Maternity, 15'

I have some wonderful friends in Salt Lake City who have inspired me to start a photography business along with all the wonderful photographers in my life and those that have taken our pictures over the years. So one in particular when I told her I wanted to get into photography she gave me her text books and helped me get started! I am forever grateful to her for helping me get started and then letting me do my first photo shoot with her & her husband who are expecting a baby girl in August!! So happy for them! The night before our planned shoot my new camera came! That was a close one! She was willing to let me use her camera but I really really wanted my camera to use. Thank goodness for the delivery guy. Bless his heart he had to go back to his truck 3 times before he gave me the right package. I was a little disappointed when he brought me a tiny box and then a car seat. Ya no I didn't order a car seat and my bundle is bigger that a box that might hold a bottle of lotion.

We did this maternity/gender reveal shoot at Daybreak Lake, March 17th in the morning. She had some poses picked out and really cute props. I brought some purple balloons along too. I originally had 8 and by the time we took some pictures with them we had 2. I am glad I bought 8 to start with. Daybreak lake is so beautiful and has many options for photos. She wanted to have tall grasses in the picture. So the lake was perfect for that. When I got there I noticed there were guys ripping out the grass, I totally screamed NOooo, in the car. It worked out though they didn't get all the grass!

I couldn't be happier with how this shoot went. Congratulations Lemon family!! Can't wait to meet baby girl.
